  • Welcome to the Biomedical Systems Engineering Lab!

We associate the principles and knowledge of process systems engineering with advanced experimental techniques to provide solutions to biological and medical problems.

The BSEL uses an interdisciplinary approach to provide integrated in vitro/in silico platforms for clinically translational applications. Through mammalian and stem cell bioprocessing, tissue engineering, and microbial population dynamics, BSEL focuses in precision anti-cancer treatment platforms, cellular therapies, and monoclonal antibody production technologies
