Cellular Bioprocessing
At BSEL, we set out to increase productivity, regulate product quality, and reduce costs for mammalian cell culture systems for bioprocessing. Mammalian bioprocess development has a wide range of potential applications, such as analysis and prediction of experimental results, optimization of culture conditions for prolonged viability, and the investigation of fundamental metabolic processes and their subsequent elucidation. For instance, BSEL is developing a computationally tractable mathematical model for cell population dynamics, antibody synthesis and glycosylation for optimization of monoclonal antibody synthesis.
